Philanthropists Charles and Margaret Juravinski have made a new gift of $3.3 million to accelerate COVID-19-related and brain health research as part of the newly formed Juravinski Research Institute in Hamilton.
Recent cannabis users may be more likely to experience memory problems or difficulties with cognitive function than those who don’t use the drug, says a study led by McMaster University researcher James MacKillop.
The research included more than 23,000 research participants of European ancestry. The data showed that approximately 12 percent of a person’s variation in delay discounting can be attributed to genetics.
