In less than a year, Allan Downey’s latest award-winning film project has travelled across the continent – and sparked conversations about Indigenous history.
In partnership with the Woodland Cultural Centre in Brantford, Monture will help to interview, record, and document the cultural wisdom and stories of the handful of remaining first language speakers of Cayuga and Onondaga at Six Nations.
The Indigenous Research Capacity and Reconciliation – Connection Grants are interdisciplinary and aim to identify new ways to co-develop an Indigenous research training model that contributes to reconciliation.
