In the News: Zain Chagla on COVID-19 booster shots

Zain Chagla, associate professor of medicine and infectious diseases specialist, answered a range of COVID-19 booster questions on CBC News Network this past week.
Chagla responded to questions submitted by members of the public to CBC’s The National, including whether the booster shot is necessary and who should get the booster shot in the near future.
Chagla says while there’s likely going to be a point when everyone needs a booster, there are particular groups identified to receive booster shots more imminently, including older adults and Indigenous communities.
