Guyatt, who coined the phrase "evidence-based medicine" and established the gold standard for health research and its evaluation, is receiving the Einstein Foundation Award for Promoting Quality in Research.
The study will evaluate the drugs’ effectiveness in preventing COVID-19 disease progression, and researchers say the results could be known in as little as two to three months.
