Joining the global mission to find treatments for people with COVID-19, McMaster engineers hope to use their novel technology to help other researchers with disease modelling and drug screening.
Three McMaster researchers have been awarded infrastructure funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) to advance their work in materials processing, respiratory medicine, and mental health.
Currently, there are more than 4,100 Canadians living with cystic fibrosis. The majority were diagnosed with the disease in their first year of life.
