As most people rush to distance themselves from COVID-19, Canadian researchers have been waiting eagerly to get our (gloved) hands on the hated virus.
The faculties of Engineering, Health Sciences and Science are donating masks, gloves, goggles, sanitizer and other vital medical supplies from labs across McMaster to help local hospitals combat COVID–19.
Gerry Wright and Karen Mossman have two of 49 projects across Canada that have been allocated a total of $25 million in funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
