The McMaster Institute for Research on Aging (MIRA) and the McMaster School of Nursing’s Aging, Community and Health Research Unit (ACHRU) have formed the newest research centre in the Ontario SPOR SUPPORT Unit (OSSU) network.
MIRA awards catalyst grants to interdisciplinary research proposals from each faculty, including plans to turn the RBG's trails into a living lab, to trace family health across generations of Hamiltonians, to manage chronic pain, and to help with the transition when older adults stop driving.
