A desperate bid to provide masks to Hamilton health care workers has launched a successful local mask manufacturer and given birth to a McMaster centre of excellence.
Nine researchers are receiving Exploration awards, designed to support initiatives that push boundaries and inspire high-risk, high-reward and interdisciplinary research.
McMaster’s Centre of Excellence in Protective Equipment and Materials (CEPEM) have partnered with BC-based Vitacore to launch Canada’s first end-to-end recycling program for single-use masks and respirators.
