A team of engineers, scientists and manufacturers from private industry and McMaster University have successfully created an N95 respirator made and approved for sale in Canada.
The portable device could save many lives and prevent catastrophic damage by taking up some of the placenta’s role in oxygenating blood until babies are able to breathe independently.
