Five professors of the Faculty of Health Sciences have been elected fellows of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, considered one of the highest honours for members of the country’s health sciences community.
“My hope is that my research will help other clinicians identify and treat risk factors for cardiovascular disease at an earlier stage than they would have without the research."
McMaster researchers led three of the year's top 100 papers, and contributed to an additional one, according to the Altmetric Top 100.
